A few weeks back, I spent a beautiful calm morning in Iris studio for a handbuilding workshop. The lovely interior set the scene. After an introduction into techniques, all 5 of us started making our own pieces. Every one beautiful and unique in its own way.
I enjoyed the calmness of creating something myself, lovely conversations and delicious treats. I picked up my pieces today and am just so grateful to Iris! Hopefully I can take another workshop sometime soon!

A beautiful and peaceful 2.5 hours with Iris! She taught me the basics of wheel throwing and in a few hours I already could make bowls and mugs by myself! She was a really kind teacher who also gives space and lets one do individual work! There were snacks and drinks also between the hard work.
A very good experience and would recommend for anyone who wants to learn pottery and appreciates a beautiful and comfortable studio!

On a Sunday morning, I attended the intuitive handbuilding workshop. And it was wonderful! In Iris' cozy home we could sit down at a table where everything was already waiting for us. We were welcomed with the best coffee I have had in ages and homemade treats.
Iris is a nice person, she explains in a clear way what to expect and which techniques to use and helps you where needed. The hours fly by and the result is that I made something I'm really happy with.
If you like being creative and maybe trying something new in a nice and quiet environment, I can really recommend a workshop with Iris!
